Three dogs can be a handful. So mornings in Southwold usually consist of one dog, but for the last week we've had three and believe you me they can be harmful. Two strong labradors, and one springy wild, whippet, who loves to wind them both up. When it's been dark, we've had to put on the illuminated Kullas otherwise we'd never know where they were or what they were eating. The beach is usually quiet when we go there first thing in the morning, which is lovely especially out of season they can sometimes be not a soul on Southwold Beach. The other great thing about this time of year is you can take your dog on any stretch of the beach between the pier and the Harbour mouth. Mabel loves to run along the beach, sniffing out for all kinds of stuff. Tomorrow we will be back to our normal pack of one dog, the other two are lovely, but they are very strong. They were quite easily have you over if you don't have your wits about you.
